The Rosendin Foundation

Our Texas offices and job sites participated in a competition to help raise a collection of books for the children across Texas. Our volunteers collected a total of 590 books for BookSpring!

Congratulations to the Rosendin Renewables team at the Brazoria jobsite for winning the 2025 competition with 251 books! Thank you to our teams in Austin, Long Point, and Sequoia for participating! It was a wonderful opportunity to help support our youth.

About BookSpring

Through book distributions, volunteer training and placements, and motivational activity support, BookSpring launches children into a world of reading. Founded in 2008, from a merger of two nationally recognized literacy programs with decades of experience, BookSpring is the only Central Texas organization focusing on building literacy skills and the motivation to read through increasing home libraries and reading aloud activities for low-income children.

With 50 years of experience, BookSpring is creating a brighter future by igniting a love for reading and providing opportunities for a nurturing reading environment where children can thrive. Through partnerships with healthcare, education, and community providers, as well as direct outreach to qualifying families, BookSpring’s programming includes children’s book distributions, motivational activities and events, digital resources, and educational support. They serve children under 12 who are typically very low income as determined by Free and Reduced Price Lunch, CHIP, or WIC eligibility. With a statewide focus, our comprehensive book access programs empower families with home libraries and promote reading-aloud activities, building literacy equity one family at a time. BookSpring has special expertise in curating children’s books and building early literacy and is dedicated to putting more books in the hands of our community’s most vulnerable children. In 2023, BookSpring was recognized with the U.S. Library of Congress Literacy Best Practices Award, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce Business Award for Nonprofit Impact, and a Recognize Good Ethics in Business finalist.
