The Rosendin Foundation donates $30,000 to Central Oregon nonprofits
The Rosendin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded to make a positive impact on communities through financial grants and volunteer work, celebrated its partnership with The Peaceful Presence Project by presenting the community organization with a $7,000 grant.
Alongside donations to nonprofits in Bend and Prineville, The Rosendin Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to community nonprofits in Oregon and around the country.
6 Central Oregon non-profits sharing $30,000 in grants from Rosendin Foundation
Five Central Oregon non-profits will split $30,000 in grant money from the Rosendin Foundation.
The Peaceful Presence Project is receiving $7,000. CASA of Central Oregon, Healing Reins Equine Assisted Services, Heart of Oregon Corps, MountainStar Family Relief Nursery will receive $5,000 each. Humane Society of the Ochocos will receive $3,000.
Reston nonprofit Cornerstones awarded $20K in time for the winter holidays
Cornerstones, the Reston-based nonprofit that runs the Embry Rucker Community Shelter, among other services, has received an early Christmas present in the form of a big check.
Earlier this month, The Rosendin Foundation — a charitable corporation that aims to support local communities through financial grants and volunteer work — awarded $20,000 to the organization.
Other organizations that received funds include:
Women Giving Back ($25,000), a Sterling-based organization that serves women and children in crisis
Mobile Hope ($10,000), a Leesburg group that provides support and emergency shelter to young people
Our Minds Matter ($5,000), a youth suicide prevention organization centered in the D.C. area
The Chris Atwood Foundation ($5,000), which is based in Fairfax and provides resources and advocacy for people affected by substance use

On Saturday, December 16th, our Modular Power Solutions volunteers partnered with Wreaths Across America to lay wreaths to remember and honor our local fallen soldiers at Van Alstyne Cemetery. We also collected and donated $255 for 17 wreaths to contribute to the Service Day.

What's happening: The Rosendin Foundation, Save the Family Foundation and Mesa companies are coming together to present a Thanksgiving event to give back to families struggling with homelessness and food insecurity. There will be gift baskets with nonperishable food and a $75 gift card for families to use for perishable food.
The Rosendin Foundation Raises Over $295,000 for Nonprofit Organizations
Tempe, Arizona – Electrical workers gathered in Arizona to raise over $295,000 for The Rosendin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit incorporated to positively impact communities through financial grants and volunteer work. 148 golfers, 21 volunteers, and 46 company sponsors supported The Rosendin Foundation’s 2nd Annual Golf Tournament and Auction fundraiser, held September 25 at the We-Ko-Pa Golf Club in Fort McDowell, Arizona.
The Rosendin Foundation supports community nonprofits around the country that promote emotional, nutritional, and occupational health programs. The Foundation impacts these organizations by organizing volunteer opportunities and providing financial grants and donations of up to $50,000 per organization while encouraging people to be their best through volunteer efforts and donation drives in 16 cities. A portion of this year’s fundraising efforts will also go towards expanding TRF Camp Build, a free construction camp that inspires middle schoolers around the country.
“The donations from partners and players helped us surpass our goal for this year’s fundraising golf tournament, raising $295,000 in gross revenues for those in need,” said Jolsna Thomas, President of The Rosendin Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of participants, these funds will be used to positively impact our communities and we are beyond appreciative for everyone who came together to help our fundraising efforts.”
During the reception that followed the tournament, Thomas recognized the event’s top sponsors that made significant donations including annual sponsors Rosendin, Modular Power Solutions and Milwaukee Tools; presenting sponsors Sunbelt Rentals and Border States, and platinum sponsors Wesco and Zurich.
The Rosendin Foundation is a 501(3)(c) of Rosendin Holdings, the parent company of Rosendin, one of the nation’s largest design-build specialty electrical contractors, and Modular Power Solutions (MPS), one of the nation’s largest electrical manufacturing companies.
Since its inception, The Rosendin Foundation has donated over $1,255,350 to 174 nonprofit organizations in communities where Rosendin and MPS employees live and work. Funding comes primarily from contributions made by Rosendin Holdings, as well as employees, retirees, and Foundation fundraisers. Grant and emergency grant applications are available on the foundation’s website at https://www.therosendinfoundation.org/grants. Annual grant applications are due August 15th.

The Rosendin Foundation sponsored a free construction camp for 16 middle school students at its regional office in Tempe. From June 19-23, TRF Camp Build aimed to empower students to experience the excitement of hands-on building and gain new insights into the construction industry. The free camp offered attending 7th-9th graders hands-on experience using power tools, building their own lamps and engaging in roofing and framing activities. The camp culminated in the construction of doghouses, which were then donated to a local non-profit.

TRF Camp Build took place on Saturday, June 10, 2023, and was crafted to motivate and empower students to unearth the thrill of hands-on building and gain fresh insight into the building industry.
Given the chance to work with tools, middle school students work construction
This week was focused on all things construction for some middle school students in Gallatin.
The Rosendin Foundation hosted a free construction camp, giving students the chance to work with tools. The campers all got their own hard hats, safety goggles, gloves and high-visibility T-shirts.
They spent the past five days making wooden forms, stepping stones, and lamps. Organizers said they can see a big difference in how the kids present themselves after the week is over.
"It's really exciting to see this transformation. It's like a little butterfly effect," said Jolsna Thomas, President of Rosendin Foundation. "They were cocooned on day one. Day five — they're now full-blown and beautiful. And confident. Their posture has improved. Their all sense of self has improved."
The camp is making its way across the U.S., with its next experiences scheduled in Arizona and Texas.
